“Mortui vivos docent”

Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to write for this contest that is running by @solperez , here is the link if you are also interested:
Prof. Brown was well known pathologist and he loved his profession. He belongs to the teaching board of the University hospital and the time when he had students he himself cheered up and was glad to hear new and fresh thoughts, ideas and questions of young people. He never judged and always gave time for young people to think about and respected what they think.
This time he was preparing for his teaching and he knew that they have a new body of young woman who died suddenly from suicide. It was very sad case and there were many questions that Prof. Brown had himself in his head but also that he will ask his students.
Now he came to the body of young woman and remove the sheet, he froze for a moment and he thought that he saw a ghost, because the young woman was looking like his first love when he was younger, his lovely Lucy, who he did not see for long time because she moved with her parents over the ocean to America. Prof. Brown did not see her since and only heard couple of decades later from common friend that she died from heart attack.
Despite of that he still could not trust his eyes. He slowly sank into the chair and was staring into the face of young woman, it was like a fate gave another chance for him to see his Lucy. There were many thoughts racing in his head and one was what if he would have travelled and found his Lucy once he grown up and asked her to be his wife. Prof. Brown thought that with his knowledge he might have prevent her death from heart attack and maybe they still would live together happy.
He was sorry about this young woman, why she did not give a chance for this life to offer her all the precious things in this world and why there was no one who would be able to be next to her and to support her.
He was also very excited to hear the thoughts and opinion of his students and also hoped that these young people will learn something from this lesson, very often he recalled the wise Latin quote:
“Mortui vivos docent” which means "The dead teach the living"
