Believe that You Are Free

There is no reason for our life to remain tied to something that does not make us happy or that does not come from God, when through his love and his dedication we have been free.

The apostle Paul wrote to first-century believers in Corinth: “…No temptation has overtaken you that is not human; but faithful is God, who will not let you be tempted more than you can resist, but he will also provide a way out with the temptation, so that you can endure.

(1 Corinthians 10:12-13)
Paul's statement gives us the hint of the principle that we are more than conquerors, therefore there is no temptation that we cannot overcome. Jesus is our advocate and allows us to overcome the enemy's traps that seek to lead us into sin, as Jesus already warned: "... the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy." (John 10:10) Now, if we are aware of that danger, we will remain alert as the Scriptures say: “…
if the head of the family knew what time the thief would come, he would surely watch, and would not let his house be broken into. ” (Luke 12:39)

One of the pieces of advice that we must assume in our lives is to develop intimacy with the Lord Jesus in prayer. He allows us to overcome whatever situation we face or come out on top when temptations come.

If Jesus in his earthly transit faced temptations and overcame them, He leads us to face them victoriously.

It is a principle that we must have clear in our hearts. We are overcomers because the Master we follow has overcome.

If God made us free there is absolutely nothing that can enslave us, no pain, no debts, no problems, in Christ everything will be for our victory.
