Wraith is aliiive! Sorta...

Verge launched the Wraith Protocol, but nobody seems to know it.

The New Year's clock ticked down. 3...2...1... Happy New Year!

No Wraith.

Soon after the beginning of 2018, a tweet from the Verge team - "Wraith on OSX is released and working. Windows / Linux versions take longer than expected..."

OK, so... the Mac version is live. Cool. The Windows and Linux Wraith wallets are still not finished? OK. I guess I'll wait then.

As the day goes on, it turns out, the Mac and Windows Wraith wallets are released and functional. Buggy, but functional. Cool. Who uses Linux anyway (Ha, just kidding! Not really.)?

A news story gets picked up and spread everywhere about the Verge wallet failing to hide IP addresses. The price of Verge plummets. It turns out, the whole IP address story is fake.

In the meantime, numerous testers demonstrate and prove that the Wraith wallet for Windows and Mac is indeed working as intended. Awesome. This should bolster support for Verge!

Yet, there is no further announcement except one about some updates coming for the "existing release".

People are clamouring for the Verge developers to just say, definitively, "Wraith is released on all desktop platforms and is fully functional. Here is a demonstration proving its functionality. Enjoy (Cheers)."

I know this might seem a little whiny, but it really wouldn't hurt to just clearly state this. Maybe this will happen when the Linux wallet is released? Unless, it already is? Is it? I guess I'll sift through a bunch of trolls and fake stories on Twitter to find out...
