Country Living
Anybody from the country can tell you that heavy machinery is not only functional but also a status symbol. If your family can afford, several $50,000 pieces of equipment, then they are doing something right. When I was 5 years old my Poppa taught me how to drive a tractor. That is how we survived; working and living off of the land. Little did I know, we were doing more than surviving, we were thriving. He made me the sole benefactor of more than several $1,000,000's of liquid real estate. My grandfather was teaching me how to be independent and a business owner. He bowed to no man and he never made excuses. He told me to always take care of my family and never blame anyone else for my failures if I ever should experience it. Every time I see farming equipment, I am reminded of my humble upbringing. I hope you enjoy this display of southern success.

I am sitting in front of my 6.8 L JohnDeere fire pump performing my weekly fire pump test. My back yard is so small I couldn't even fit a tractor back there. But I still want one...
