A simple guide to mine with CPU and to make some profit

First of all i want to say mining every coin at this moment in my Country (Italy) is not so cheap, because cost of electricity is very high. Maybe in your Country this is different.
But if you want to do some profit indipendent of your electricity cost you can easily try to do it with your PC.
There are different hardware mining at this moment: CPU,GPU, ASIC, ecc....
what i want to explain is how to mine with your CPU.
Probably are you asking: why is better to mine with a CPU? and why are we doing it?
if you are here, probably, you don't have sufficient hardware to mine and you want to use your home pc to do somenthing.

Mine is based on hash algorithm. This algorithm is used to create blocks of blockchain. all algorithms are very difficult to mine.
But some algorithm can be mined with CPU and there is not so much difference with others hardware.
One of this is Cryptonight, based on CryptoNote codebase.
A coin i have already tried to mine with my home notebook with an intel core i7 pc, is AEON COIN.
I tried to mine on a pool making 1 AEON every 4/5 days with an intel core i7 CPU. AEON price today is around 2$.
So if you want to try, let me explain what to do.

PART 1:
Download AEON WALLET and DAEMON from here

it contains 2 file:

a) aeond.exe
b) simplewallet

AEON is based on a command line wallet/daemon.
Others ALTCOIN have GUI Wallet. Wth AEON you must be familiar with DOS.
First of all execute aeond.exe. This will download all blockchain on your pc on folder:

C:\Users\Your Profile\AppData\Roaming\aeon
File blockchain.bin is around 4,5 GB.
So wait Daemon download all blockchain.

When done start simplewallet.exe
It will ask to create a new wallet. Create new wallet name and password. At the end software will give you public ADDRESS to receive money.
This will be used to receive money from a POOL.

Now is time to choose a Pool. I tried with https://aeon-pool.com/

Download mining software called "cpuminer-wolf-with-cryptonight-light" from this repo:

(maybe your antivirus will block mining software)

now start mining software with pool string. For pool said before string is:

minerd -a cryptonight-light -o stratum+tcp://mine.aeon-pool.com:3333 -u "your public AEON wallet" -p x

password is indifferent.

Now check your profit here https://aeon-pool.com/
you have only to insert your public AEON wallet on "Your Stats & Payment History" and click on Lookup.
To take some reward you have to find some share. So the payout is not instant. Maybe will take some hour.
