My Batch

As a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I was privy to a metamorphic experience in Mindanao. From 2013 to 2015, my tenure in the Philippines Butuan Mission took me on a journey through various places within the Caraga Region.

Families We Taught

One of the most unforgettable moments of my missionary service was the chance to connect with the Surigaonon community. Each encounter, be it with a family in their abode, assisting a neighbor with a task, or having a casual street conversation, was an opportunity to marvel at the warmth and generosity of the people I came across. I will always cherish the memories of families who welcomed me into their homes and treated me like one of their own.

People We Baptized

Teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ was a highlight of my mission. Sharing my beliefs and enlightening others on the significance of following Christ's teachings was an honor. The countless individuals who came to know the truth through my testimony and the power of the Holy Ghost will forever remain etched in my memory. Witnessing the joy and peace the gospel brought into their lives was a true blessing, and I feel grateful for the chance to have served as a messenger of the Lord.

My Companions

However, serving as a full-time missionary was not without its difficulties. Homesickness, feelings of inadequacy, and other obstacles were common, but through it all, I learned to trust in the Lord and draw strength from serving Him. I discovered that the trials and challenges I faced were opportunities for growth and self-improvement. Most importantly, I learned that the Lord loves me and will always be there for me, no matter what.

Playing With Children

During my mission, I was blessed with the opportunity to serve in various capacities. Serving in different areas within the Caraga Region gave me a unique insight into the needs and struggles of the people there. Whether I was collaborating with local leaders, teaching a lesson, or playing with children, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose in my service.

In conclusion, my time as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was a defining experience in my life. I am thankful for the chance to have served the Lord and my fellow brothers and sisters, and the memories of the people I met and the experiences I had during my two years of service will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope that my testimony will inspire others to serve the Lord and bring happiness and hope into the lives of those around them.
