🇪🇬 The Great Egyptian Event — The Grand Egyptian Museum Opening 🎉

Hello my friends 😊
This time my post is going to be a bit different —
not about painting or art directly, but about the origin of all arts 🎨🏺
Because today I want to talk about a wonderful event happening in Egypt,
and honestly, I’m very excited to share it with you

🏛️ Egypt Amazes the World Once Again
After years of hard work and preparation,
Egypt is now getting ready to open the Grand Egyptian Museum,
the largest and most modern archaeological museum in the world,
located right next to the Pyramids of Giza.
The grand opening is scheduled for this Saturday,
and the government has declared it a public holiday
to celebrate this remarkable historic event 🌍✨
The museum will feature over 100,000 artifacts from Egypt’s ancient treasures,
including the entire collection of King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time.
🏺 Egypt’s Journey Before the Opening

Before reaching this glorious moment, Egypt had already amazed the world with
“The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade” in 2021 —
a breathtaking royal procession that transferred 22 royal mummies
of ancient kings and queens
from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
It was more than a parade — it was a masterpiece of art and history,
filled with music, lighting, choreography, and elegance,
showing the world that Egyptian civilization is not just about the past…
it’s a living art that continues to inspire 🇪🇬
The costumes were absolutely stunning — each design reflected the beauty of ancient Egypt, combining authenticity with modern creativity.
The live singing and performances added a powerful emotional touch to the event, with voices that captured the spirit of the pharaohs and the pride of our great civilization.
What made it even more remarkable was that the singing was performed in Hieroglyphic, the language of the ancient Egyptians — an operatic performance that united authenticity and artistic brilliance in a breathtaking way.
💫 In Conclusion
This Saturday is not just a museum opening…
It’s a new celebration of Egyptian civilization ❤️🇪🇬
A moment when history is being written again,
in a global event attended by kings, presidents, and world leaders,
who will witness — together with the Egyptian people —
a once-in-a-lifetime moment of pride and glory.

You are always welcome to visit Egypt anytime — it would be a great honor to have you here 🇪🇬 🤗
It's fascinating to see such splendor, to recover from oblivion the last vestiges of civilization. The struggle to maintain the roots of each country should be one of the most important principles of every nation. The loss of identity will create people with fewer values and less humanity. Beautiful work you just presented.
Thank you so much dear @almaguer 🙏
I truly appreciate your thoughtful words, and I completely agree — preserving cultural roots and identity is what keeps nations alive and connected.
The ceremony was indeed a powerful message, reflecting Egypt’s deep bond with its ancient heritage and reminding us all of the importance of keeping history alive in our hearts. 🇪🇬
You shared some very tiny pictures. Is there a reason, even on a phone they are petite?
Interesting what Egypt declares, a bit pity it isn't shown and a lot of money is wasted to visit it on acvount of the people. At least the Dutch return what is taken from a grave. I will never understand why grave robbery is permitted. I am sure that if I would do this today I end up in prison.
Thanks for sharing this topic in a post.
🍀♥️
Thank you dear @wakeupkitty for sharing your thoughts
I completely understand and respect your concern about historical and ethical values.
Honestly, I got the pictures from Google, so I’m not sure why they appear small. The main reason was that I didn’t want to “spoil” too much from the video — I wanted everyone to enjoy the ceremony themselves
As for the museum, its main goal is to bring the artifacts back to their original land and present them in a way that honors history and the spirit of ancient Egypt.
I truly appreciate your engagement and thoughtful comment
🌸♥️
With you I hope that, also like @almaguer stated, that will happen and eaxh culture has a right of history unfortunately I don't see that around me. It seems only certain cultures have that right 😕
I completely understand what you mean, dear @wakeupkitty 🌿
It’s truly sad that not all cultures are given the same space to honor their history, while every nation deserves to tell its own story.
Unfortunately, in today’s world, the big fish often eats the small and peaceful ones😕… but there’s always hope that one day all civilizations will be respected equally, because diversity is what makes our world more beautiful and humane 🌍
Despite everything, Egypt still preserves much of its ancient heritage, even though over one million stolen artifacts are displayed in museums around the world. Egypt has already managed to recover about 30,000 pieces, and negotiations are still ongoing to bring back the rest of its treasures.
During the ceremony, there was a beautiful musical piece featuring ancient Egyptian dance, symbolically traveling around the world. One touching moment showed the stolen obelisk that now stands in European squares — a replica of which is displayed in the Grand Egyptian Museum — followed by clips of all the obelisks worldwide, as if sending a message:
“These are our monuments.” 🇪🇬
Thank you for your thoughtful comment and deep perspective.
I truly hope that the day will come every nation has the right to be proud of it's culture and history. It's my belief that we should see it in the eyes of those who lived back then and not how we are (forced to) see the world today.
There's no need to feel ashamed about history, a culture, about anchestors we might have had and never met.
The complete package is what made us what we are today, where we stand, how we face the world and I truly believe that one hand washes the other.
I wish you a happy day.
You're absolutely right. Without history and heritage, there would be no civilization or identity for any nation. Every culture leaves its own mark and story that shapes who we are today. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with inspiration and positivity.
Thank you so much @steemcurator06 and Team 03 for your support and appreciation.
I truly value your encouragement — it motivates me to keep creating and sharing more meaningful art.
