Fun Multicolour Colourful Makeup
Hello everyone! So I was messing with my eyeshadow palette and thought of trying out some makeup styles on my eyes. I am not a routine makeup user especially eyeshadows. I do use eyeliner regularly though as I like it a lot.
I own a few colourful shorts which I love to wear especially at home as they are very comfortable as well. I got all of them at beach areas as they are actually beach shorts. I thought of recreating the colours of this particular shorts on my eyelids.
This is the eyeshadow palette that I used. It has a total of 120 colours. I rarely most of them unless I am going to an event like a wedding function. The only colours I have used more are the browns and pinks.
I have already prepped my eyes and I just used my foundation as a base. It Maybelline foundation with medium coverage. By the way, I actually completely forgot about my eyebrows until later on.
This is the brush I used. It is a round shadow brush.
I started with yellow. Unfortunately I don't have a vibrant yellow and this yellow didn't really show much so I skipped to the next colour.
Here comes orange :D
At least it showed better than the yellow.
I like the orange. By the way, I didn't use foundation on my entire face. I only used a little of it under my eyes and on my eyelid. I then powdered the parts on my face.
Time for the pink colour.
It looked close to the pink on my shorts.
I could not find the perfect green but I found one that looked close to the green I wanted.
I added the green eyeshadow as well and blended the colours into each other with a gentle tapping motion using the same brush.
I am only showing half of my face because the other eye was yet to be done at the moment.
I added a light layer of brown eyeshadow on my eyebrows to fill some sparse areas. Then, I added a shimmery golden eyeshadow at the inner corners of my eyes. I also added some eyeliner. I don't have a mascara so I stopped there.
Here's a selfie with my eyeshadow palette. I don't know why the selfie mode on my phone isn't capturing the colours well when I position my phone far. Maybe I should try using my father's phone next time as his one is better.
To be honest, I wanted to title this as Makeup Disaster as I don't think it turned out well and it was quite messy with no structure in the steps. In the end, I chose not to do that as that might have seemed dramatic. Thank you for dropping by and have a great day ♥
