Another fantastic post mate! It has been 11 years since I was last in Davao , which was y 3rd visit whilst travelling the Phil between 2007 and 2010. Nothing but amazing memories so keep your posts coming please as they remind me of some very happy times :-)
Thank you, @nathen007! I'm gonna have to make a special trip to Davao again soon! I haven't really explored the city that much because we were really tired from the trek and we were in Davao just for 1 day.
Rest assured I'll keep on posting, but most of them will showcase Cebu since I can just easily go somewhere here and take photos.
I have been there too! But it looked less alive at the time I was there, would have loved to grab the durian ice cream! I love Durian!
I remember my first time in Mindanao quite good, and those checkpoints felt at my first day quit scary and impressive, especially the tank on the way to Gensan. But those military guys are actually nice and funny
Hey, Sash! Happy New Year! I bet you're having a good time. I'm actually excited to read your next post.
Yeah. I didn't feel any intimidation or something from them. They just ask where we're from and what we did there. They even shared their experience climbing Mt. Kalatungan.
Ohh wauw, cool that they even told you! Thats what I love about Filipinos, they are such a warm people! I miss being there so much!
Well, I have fun and good friends here, but the job isn't much fun. Really german mentality, and my boss told me they are gonna fire people, so thats gonna be me or one of my good friends probably... 😔
Well, I can easily find an other job. The chef even offered me to find me a job since he wants me to stay around. But I can always go back home and work at my old place. Or I can be an english teacher in Vietnam, or do a farmjob in New Zealand. Lots of possibilities out here :)
And at this job, they wanna make sure that we feel not good enough. They complain about all the new staff.

Which is also good for me because that's one of the places I never got around to visiting!
That would be great! I guess I should start my new series ASAP. It will be about Cebu and what makes it unique.

Do you have plans for worst case scenario? Anyway, if you're enjoying, just live life to the fullest.

If it's really that toxic, you can leave it. It might not be worth it anymore.
