How I celebrated Valentines Day?

Yesterday, we celebrated Valentines Day or a Hearts Day, in honor of Saint Valentine. which we celebrate annually every 14th of February. When we heard Valentines Day, many people say that this is a day wherein we show our love to our parents, teachers, friends and love ones or unto each other. Thats why as we look at the different places like malls, there are plenty of displayed things like hearts, flowers, stuff toys and many more. Many people rushed to this places to buy this things for them to give to their love ones as a symbol of their love and care.

Since yesterday we had no class due to typhoon Basyang, as I arrived in the school early this morning, I was very much surprised of my pupils . They gave me something like flowers, cards, chocolate and letter with valentine message. And I am so happy not because of the things they give but of their being thoughtful and kind. I know they love me as their teacher. And I am very greatful today because of them.

And also with my family, we celebrated Valentines through bonding or get together. Letting them know the true essence of this day. Showing them the importance of love with each other, and most of all, the fun and happy moments that they experience within the family bonding.



But we will not only show our love during this day. Everyday is Valentines Day. We should have to show our love and care to our family, friends and love ones in everyday of our life.
