The country's archaeological department (SSI) has presented affidavit in court in the court of the historic Taj Mahal of Agra city of India, which was never a Shiva temple. It is a memorial of emperor Shahjahan and his wife Mamtaz Mahal.

Several days ago a debate started with the Taj Mahal. A corridor claims that the Taj Mahal has been built on a Shivmandir. The Shivamandir is buried under the Taj Mahal. A number of lawyers from Agra filed a suit in this regard. On Wednesday, the Indian Archeology Department advocate Anjani Sharma informed the court through affidavit, that the Taj Mahal was never a Shivmandir on any day. It is a monument built to commemorate the memories of Mughal emperor Shahjahan's wife Samrajni, Momtaz Mahal.

Anjani Sharma said that most of the information presented in the court to prove the Taj Mahal to prove Shiva temple is of the most imaginative. It has no historical basis. And the Supreme Court order does not require a fresh review of the part of the Taj Mahal that has been closed.

SSI has claimed that the first Taj Mahal debate began with a book written by historian PN Oak. In the book, PN Oak claimed that Shivamandir was buried under the Taj Mahal. The name of the Shiva temple was 'Tejo Mahalaya'. Based on the book's information, the lawyers of Agra lawyers sued. The demand for accepting the Taj Mahal as a Shiva temple was taken. The name of Taj Mahal was declared as Tejo Mahalaya.
