Text: Psalms 57:10

For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens.Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
(New Living Translation)

One quick way to lose your blessings is to remember what God has not done for you and forget the things He had done in the past, many of which you never even prayed for. Come to think of it the many times we take to complaining and grumbling about our lot in life; we often forget that no matter how bad our situation, God has been faithful in the past.

When you find yourself in a bad situation, what do you think about God? Do you think He is slow to act on your behalf, do you think He has forgotten you or do you conclude that He is not concerned about you? In the Psalms, King David exemplifies the way we should react to bad times. In Psalms 77:9, the psalmist questions himself saying

“has God forgotten to be merciful? Has He withheld His compassion in anger”
Then he goes ahead to say what he will rather do in verse 14 that

“I will remember the deeds of the Lord, yes I will remember His miracles of long ago.”

God likens his unforgetfulness to that of a nursing mother. Even if it is possible for a nursing mother to forget the baby at her breasts; which is usually a difficult thing for her to do, God places his remembrance above that of a nursing mother. I don't know what it is that you face today, but one thing you can do is to remember God's faithfulness to you in the past If He did it before, He certainly can do it again if you will only wait on Him. God cannot change is an infallible truth and you can hold on to that fact even when everything else fails you. Don't ever for a moment think that God is more concerned about others than He is about you. You can find at least one thing that God has done for you in the past and hinge your confidence on the fact that He can do it again. His mercies are brand new every morning and they are available for you.

Gratitude is hard for many of us; especially in the middle of a terrible situation. How many of us can easily praise instead of complaining? You cannot write God off your good books completely. If you woke up without money, a iob or a child, at least you can be thankful that you are alive. If you just got out of something terrible at least be grateful that you did not die in it. Make it a conscious effort to always remember what God has done in the past and you will discover that He will do more for you.

Text:Hosea 10:12

Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord,Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
(New King jamesVersion)

There is hardly anyone who does not desire to be blessed by God in every way. Blessings is one of the trademarks of God, but there is something about blessings that you need to know; blessings will not always come as beautifully wrapped packages delivered to your doorsteps by an angel in white. Most times, your blessing will come as a great responsibility that everyone around you may be shying away from. At other times, they will come as great problems which when you are able to surmount them will guarantee your blessings.

The blessings and breakthrough that you seek from God this year are tied to your commitment to your work in the secular world, your ministry in His house and how orderly you become in your spiritual, financial and family life. As hard as this may sound, God will never give you what you are not ready for and you do not have the capacity to handle. because if He does, your blessing may turn around to be a curse because you cannot appropriate it.

Do you want God to bless you but you are not ready to find something to do, blessings will not just come to you when they cannot find anything to rest on. David had to kill Goliath, jephtah had to go to war, and Gideon had to fight like a mighty man of valour. For every responsibility you will stand up to, every challenge you will face squarely in your life, there is a reward waiting inside.

You can commit today to developing your emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social stamina in anticipation of your great chance. You may have heard it said that breakthrough happen when opportunity meets preparation. In 1Samuel 17:34, David said to King Saul and all the other people who tried to discourage him from going up against Goliath

“Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.”
Little did David know that those deadly encounters in the bush were divinely orchestrated rehearsals for his big break.

You will never be able to tell what will become very useful in your day of adversity, prepare as well as you can because at God's set time, your opportunity will manifest.

Here’s the amazing part, though: If you’re reading and understanding this, God is inviting you to change your life in incredible ways!. There is a better ways with God.

God blesses Christians today.

(Ephesians 1:3-12 NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. {4} For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love {5} he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- {6} to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. {7} In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace {8} that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. {9} And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, {10} to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. {11} In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, {12} in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

We don't have to be called to lead an army to victory before God blesses us. Many of God's blessings are spiritual in nature. They aren't necessarily financial.

Wonderful message. Don't ever for a moment think that God is more concerned about others than He is about you. You can find at least one thing that God has done for you in the past and hinge your confidence on the fact that He can do it again. Good message

How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.

Beautiful word, you can notice how God speaks through this message. Thanks for sharing, let's not forget that God has always been faithful

Adoring each other is an instruction from God. God orders us to complete two things: to have faith for the sake of His Son Jesus Christ and to love each other. We have just accepted. Presently we likewise should love. God gave us this affection, and He likewise gave us the decree to love. God initially gave us this adoration and after that He gave us the instruction to love each other. Today we should love each other as indicated by God's charge.

(Ephesians 1:3-12 NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has favored us in the radiant domains with each otherworldly gift in Christ. {4} For he picked us in him before the making of the world to be heavenly and faultless in his sight. In affection {5} he fated us to be received as his children through Jesus Christ, as per his pleasure and will- - {6} to the acclaim of his grand elegance, which he has unreservedly given us in the One he adores. {7} In him we have recovery through his blood, the absolution of sins, as per the wealth of God's beauty {8} that he pampered on us with all shrewdness and comprehension. {9} And he influenced known to us to the secret of his will as per his great delight, which he purposed in Christ, {10} to be put into impact when the circumstances will have achieved their satisfaction - to get everything paradise and on earth together under one head, even Christ. {11} In him we were likewise picked, having been foreordained by the arrangement of him who works out everything in congruity with the reason for his will, {12} all together that we, who were the first to trust in Christ, may be for the acclaim of his greatness.
