Better life with Steem| The diarygame: 2nd/1/2022 - My Sunday at Kabira Country Club.

I spent my entire sunday at Kabira Country Club. I left my home for Kabira in the morning at around 10am. Since it was some nice sunny day. I had to go for swimming at Kabira. Before entering the gates of the club, i first went to a near by restaurant to have some breakfast because i was very hungry. I had rice, potatoes and meat plus some cocktail juice.

I then proceeded to Kabira. Stopped by the receiption and paid 40,000ugx ( ~$13) for a day pass which allowed me access to all sports facilities of the club such as Swimming, tennis, basketball, soccer, gym, and squash. I was most interested in Swimming. Before swimming i did a little bit of gyming for 20 minutes. I jogged on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I did that to warm up my body before proceeding to the Swimming pool. In just 20 minutes, i covered a distance of 2.8km at a set speed of 10.

It was a great warm up on that treadmill. 196 calories were burnt in the process. I sweated a lot implying that it was some great physical exercise.

I also did a little bit of weight lifting for just about 5minutes. I used 20kg weights to just work on my arms muscles. Had some drinking water at the dispensary to quench the thirst and refreshen up. Drinking water is a very important health habit while gyming. It keeps your body hydrated because the continuous weight lifting tends to make you dehydrated.

After gyming for roughly about 25 minutes, i proceeded to the swimming pool. I went to the swimming pool changing room and put on my swimming costume. I did a set of 5 laps for each of the 3 swimming styles i know. Breaststroke, freestyle, and Backstroke.

I got some terrible muscle pulls on both legs while doing the backstroke style reason being i was just too unfit. I had taken a long time without exercising. I had to take off some time and relax. My muscles finally got relaxed and the muscle pulls were no more. I then got back into the swimming pool and resumed with my practice.

I had some nice lunch as i re-energised my body. What did i have? A deep fried Tilapia fish with a cocktail juice.

After my lunch i resumed swimming. I stopped swimming at around 4:30pm. Went to the changing room. Changed clothes as i set to leave the club to get home and rest. It was a long enjoyable day. I came back to my place and rested for some 2hours then had my supper and went to bed.
