What's the connection between Adam, Jesus and the Kingdom of God?

At the genesis of all things, God created the heaven and the earth. The heavens are his dwelling place and the earth is his footstool.

Man was originally designed by God to be a king ruling over the earth on behalf of God. This is the Dominion mandate that God assigned to man. A co-creator and Co-ruler with God; He was made in the image of God. Man is a god having the same qualities of the most high God.

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

The Loss
The fall of man on the account of sin distorted God’s right order of things. Man lost his position to the devil.

Suffering, misery death followed because of the faithfulness of God to his word. The instruction and warning of God to Adam was simple; “in the day that ye shall eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ye shall die.”

Restoration
Jesus came to redeem man kind and reinstate him back to his position.. When a man accepts and receives Christ as his personal lord and savior, he receives all that God had originally apportioned to him. Hebrews 2:5-13. That’s when you see a man that was spiritually dead to the things of God becoming alive again.

A Kingdom based relationship

God’s relationship with man is basically a kingdom based relationship. It is important to note that the kingdom of God is a nation of kings/priests unto God. Revelations 1:6. Man is a custodian of God’s creation. He is meant to govern the earth on behalf of God.

Revelation 1:6
and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Man is on earth as an ambassador of God and a custodian of his creation. He has a responsibility of intimately communing with God in order for him to be in a better position to see the manifestation of God’s kingdom on earth. Good enough, God’s grace empowers him to do the impossible.

Man transacts with the Kingdom spiritually by faith in Christ. He has to know who he is and what he is carrying on the inside of him. There are no impossibilities with Kingdom men. They are positive about everything that comes their way because all things work together for the good of them that love God and are called according to his divine purpose.

It is through Salvation that a Man receives the Kingdom and the keys to operate it. However he must also be willing to die to the self. In other words relating with God is a daily death experience. Paul writes and says, “I die daily.”

Surrendering your will for his to be done in you and through you is the way to go after all it is the working of his spirit in you both to will and to do according to his divine purpose.
