The electrons actually exist in all these places?
It sounds ridiculous, is it time to talk about quantum mechanics?

I'll show you a fun experiment, pls think about what you see.

First, you need to know what the difference between particle and wave is.

Particle means material.
The atoms that break down a material into small pieces are particles, and electrons, protons, and neutrons in atoms are also particles.

The waves are different from the particles. Waves are phenomena in which movement or energy is transmitted.

Particles move by themselves, but waves make movement by transmitting energy.

When you throw stone in the lake, concentric waves are created around the places where the stone falls.

It is not the movement of water itself, but the energy is transmitted to the water droplets on the side and the movement appears.

What?

Surfing cheering seems to people move like waves, but in fact people are all in place, standing up for a while and then sitting down.

Water droplets do not move sideways, but the droplets move up and down and the energy is transmitted to the side. Am I right?

Yes! That’s it.

Tie a long string to the tree, shake it up and down, and a wave is made and the wave goes to the tree.

Sound is a wave phenomenon that oscillates through the air. Now you understand what the wave is?

I already knew it before.

Now let's look at how particles and waves create different phenomena.

When you go to the baseball batting practice field, the baseball ball comes automatically. It is a baseball pitching machine. Let's use this to throw a baseball.

There are two walls, and a vertical gap is created in the middle wall.

Shoot!

Baseballs that pass through the gap touch the back wall. If there is paint on the baseballs, there will be a line of paint on the wall.

If the gap is two lines, there will be two lines on the wall.

Let's look at the waves.

The waves create new waves as they pass through the gap.
If there is only one gap, the highest energy mark is created in the middle, and it becomes weaker from the center to the side.

When it comes to a wave, the energy of the highest wave height is the highest.

If there are two gaps, the two waves created by the two gaps interfere with each other and create complex patterns - Interference fringes

The height of the wave tells the the energy

Particles and waves clearly show different patterns.

The problem arises in a small world which can not be seen by our eyes, the quantum world.

Please let me know if anything has to be corrected :)

I like your posting .post is good. i want to be like you are a lot of fans. and i need your support in achieving the ideals in order to become a good artist. i need support from you.

nice post.

Particle duality.. I learned about it, but still it amazes me whenever I think about it.
It's interesting that I get to accept things I don't understand fully. :)

It is confusing to anyone. Even to Fainman. kk
Thank you for reading.

Hi yoon!

I really like the way you explained it. It is very clear.

May I suggest something? I think it would be very useful, for yur readers, to add extra references where more information could be found.

In addition, I am fully convinced this will bring you more rewards ;)

I argree with you that It is very important to write a reference in scientific writing.
Thanks for the advice, @lemouth. I think I should do that. :)
