in HeartSTEM3 years ago

Excretion is the removal of waste products that are harmful or will in time interfere with normal functions of organisms is known as excretion.

EXCRETE WASTE PRODUCTS IN ANIMALS.

Carbon (iv) oxide and(carbon dioxide), nitrogenous compounds, and water are the main waste producers.
Carbon (iv) oxide and water are formed during tissue respiration.
Nitrogenous waste compounds are urea, uric acid, and ammonia.
Each of the nitrogenous compounds is excreted by different animals depending upon habitat and water needs.

UREA: urea is soluble in water. it is excreted by Mammals and dogfish
URIC ACID: is insoluble in water. animals living on land that has needed to conserve water uric acid as White semi-solid .birds, reptiles, and insects excrete uric acid
Ammonia: is very toxic and highly soluble in water. it is excreted mostly by aquatic animals like Amoeba and bonefish.
Urea, uric acid, and ammonia are by-products of protein breakdown. The end-product of protein digestion is an amino acid. Excess amino acid is deaminated by cells of the liver into urea, uric acid and ammonia, and an organic compound.

EXCRETORY WASTE PRODUCT IN PLANTS.

Carbon (iv)oxide, water, and oxygen are the main excretory wastes in plants.carbon(iv) oxide and water are produced as wastes during internal respiration.
Oxygen is given out as a by-product during photosynthesis.
Carbon (iv)oxide and water produced during respiration are used by plants during photosynthesis in the daylight, while the oxygen realized as a by-product during photosynthesis is used for respiration. Excess oxygen, not used for respiration is realized into the atmosphere. some other waste products from plants include quinine, cocaine, gums, latex, resins, turpentine, morphine, and tanning.

EXCRETORY STRUCTURE IN ANIMALS AND PLANTS.

Contractile vacuole, flame cell, tubules, and kidney are the excretory structure in animals.
WHILE
Stomata and lenticels are excretory structures in plants.
EXCRETORY STRUCTURE OR ORGANS.
Kidney, skin, lungs, gills, nephridia, Malpighian tubules, flame cell, lung book, green gland, contractile vacuole, lenticels, and stomata.
