Thousands of Acehnese People Attend the Opening of Bhayangkara Fest 2024.

Bhayangkara Fest 2024 is an event presented by the Aceh Regional Police (Polda) to the community in commemoration of Bhayangkara's 78th Anniversary. This activity was packed with thousands of visitors on the opening night, Friday 5 July 2024 evening, which took place at Taman Ratu Safiatuddin, Banda Aceh.

Carrying the theme "Precision Towards a Golden Indonesia of Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation", the Bhayangkara Fest organizing committee presented 100 micro, small and medium enterprises who showcased the superior products of each micro, small and medium enterprise.

This is a manifestation of the commitment of the Republic of Indonesia Police (Polri) in efforts to increase the economic growth of the community, as well as introducing various kinds of culinary delights and cultural values ​​in Aceh.

Attended by elements of the Aceh Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the opening ceremony of Bhayangkara Fest took place in an orderly and safe manner. Apart from presenting various regional dance performances from various provinces in Indonesia. Bhayangkara Fest also offers a variety of crafts, culinary delights and defense equipment stands which are presented for public education.

The Opening Ceremony of Bhayangkara Fest 2024 was truly interesting entertainment for thousands of residents who crowded Taman Ratu since sunset.

The main stage was arranged so magnificently, with such powerful lights and sound systems as if to inform the world that Aceh was in a safe and comfortable condition while maintaining local wisdom and the values ​​of Islamic law.

Several times the host who led the opening series was heard shouting that Aceh is cool because at the concert which was attended by thousands of people, especially young people, they could be so orderly, even separate between male and female audience members.

Bhayangkara Fest will last for four days, 5-8 July 2024. There are many series of activities at the event as well as various other interesting competitions that the public and event visitors can take part in.

This event was held thanks to the full support and participation of the Aceh Government, governments in 23 districts/cities, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), and several private companies in Aceh.

This event is also a moment of gathering for the people of Aceh which is realized in arts and culture performances as well as entertainment to create solidarity and togetherness in maintaining security and order ahead of the implementation of the XXI Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) and the simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) next November. .

Aceh Regional Police Chief (Kapolda), Inspector General Achmad Kartiko, when opening Bhayangkara Fest 2024, hoped that this activity could bring the National Police closer to the people of Aceh.

According to the Regional Police Chief, Bhayangkara Fest 2024 is an event presented by the Aceh Regional Police to the community in commemoration of the 78th Bhayangkara Day, with the theme "Precision towards a Golden Indonesia, Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation".

"We want to create a sense of security and comfort for all levels of society, as well as build trust and solid cooperation to create a conducive social security and order situation in the province we love," said Inspector General Achmad Kartiko.

Inspector General Achmad Kartiko expressed his highest thanks and appreciation to the organizing committee, all Bhayangkara Fest 2024 participants, the Aceh Government along with district/city government officials, the TNI, sponsors, and all elements of society for their participation and support, so that this event could be held smoothly. Meanwhile, Acting Governor of Aceh, Bustami Hamzah, in his speech said, Bhayangkara Fest 2024 is not just a celebration, but is also a symbol of the strong partnership between the National Police, the government and the people of Aceh.

The festival is also an important momentum to further strengthen relations between all parties in keeping Aceh safe, peaceful and prosperous.

According to him, the theme of Bhayangkara Day 2024, "Polri Precision Supports Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation Towards a Golden Indonesia" is very relevant to Aceh's ongoing development mission.

"Through this Bhayangkara Fest, we not only celebrate the birthday of the National Police, but also appreciate their role as the front guard in protecting our lives and encouraging inclusive and sustainable economic transformation in Aceh," said Bustami.

He continued, the synergy between the National Police, the Aceh Government and the community has a vital role in building a better Aceh. It must be fully realized that security, stability and economic inclusion are the main foundations for economic growth and social prosperity.

Therefore, the Acting Governor of Aceh really appreciates the active role of the National Police in supporting various development programs in Aceh, including supporting inclusive economic transformation for all levels of society.

Finally, Bustami also said that Bhayangkara Fest 2024 is not just an annual event, but an agenda that is expected to have a sustainable impact on the people of Aceh.

The opening event was accompanied by entertainment performances from local artists and traditional dances from a number of regions in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the highlight was presenting Pasha Ungu who performed no less than 10 of his best singles combined with a narrative in the form of a moral message for each song he would sing.

The Gen-Z crowd who filled the area in front of the main stage looked so communicative with Ungu's songs that it didn't even feel like it was approaching midnight and the song, like a blackout, ended the entire opening series of Bhayangkara Fest 2024.
