مدينة الجمال تطوان / Beauty City Tetouan

تلقّب مدينة تطوان بالحمامة البيضاء، وتُسمّى أيضاًً بتطاون، وهي واحدة من المدن المغربية التي يطغى عليها الطابع الأندلسي. تطولّ فوق سلسلة جبال الريف ومرتفعات جبال درسة، ويرجع تاريخ المدينة إلى أكثر من ثلاثة قرون قبل الميلاد. تقع مدينة تطوان ضمن حواجز الريف العظيم، وتتّصف بأنها مساحة فلاحيّة تطّل على سواحل البحر الأبيض الوسطي، ويشار حتّىّها تعرّضت للدمار الشامل عقب فعاليات ثورة إيديمون، وتمّ بناء أسوار ما زالت لائحةً إلى هذه اللحظة، وبدأ اسم تطوان بالبزوغ جلياً في بدايات القرن الحادي عشر الميلادي.
لديها مدينة تطوان إرثاً ثقافيّاً عريقاً وضخماً، وهذا نظراً لارتباط جذورها بالثقافة الأندلسية وتأثّرها بها، وتتميز بوجود الكثير من المكتبات العامة والمتاحف والمراكز العالمية للغات والمكتبات والمعاهد الثقافية والأرشيف المخصص، وتحتضن مكانّاتٍ لمجموعة من الجامعات والكليات وغيرها؛ كجامعة عبد الملك السعدي، ومدرسة للفنون والحرف، ومدرسة عليا للأساتذة.
تضمّ مدينة تطوان كميّاتٍ كبيرة جدا من الموارد البشرية والمؤهلات الاستثمارية والطبيعية، وما ارتفع من أهميّة القطاع الاستثماري فيها موقعها الجغرافي المجاور إلى سواحل البحر الأبيض الوسطي والمحيط الأطلسي. يرتكز استثمار المدينة على القطاع الفلاحي وهذا نظراً لما يقدمه من موارد خام وطبيعيّة للقطاعات الصناعية التحويلية، أمّا القطاع السياحي فيوفر للمدينة بنيةً تحتيةً ذات أهميّة كبرى؛ إذ تضمّ عدداً كبيراً من القرى والفنادق السياحية، ويعمل القطاع السياحي كمحرّك للاقتصاد الإقليمي.
