Google is now so gigantic, a company with billions of dollars worth of assets, starting with a humble beginning. Many stories are actually rarely told about the establishment of the company headed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin it.

Google was born on September 4, 1998, two years after his idea appeared in Larry Page's head. He immediately elevated himself to Google CEO, while his close friend Sergey Brin was named co founder.

Page and Brin met while studying at Stanford University. Brin's character is open and vibrant. So for Google, Brin became a more introverted Page complement. Brin was the one who established a relationship between Google and other companies.

As mentioned above, Google was originally the idea originated from Page which was later helped by Brin. They managed to get $ 1 million worth of funding from friends and family who believe that Google will succeed. Google was founded, the office originally in a garage.

February 1999, the startup grew rapidly. Page also moved his office from a garage in a new office in Palo Alto, California. Seven months later, they moved again to Mountain View as Google's business grows.

In the first half of 1999, Google's popularity shot off. This situation makes Google require new funding to invest in both server and human resources. Although at the time, Google has not made any money.

Page and Brin started looking for new investors. But Page has a requirement, he and Brin will retain most of the voting stock and keep full control of Google. Investors agree, but they also have a requirement, Page must come down from the CEO position. He is considered inexperienced.

With a heavy heart, Page agrees and big investments come to Google. Indeed, Page has a controlling nature. Since college days, his friends say he's paranoid and controlling, he has to make sure everything is done right and right.

Page also find it difficult to remove the position of CEO because he feels able to lead Google with the help of Brin. But Google finally conscious Page need a CEO who has experienced and world-class status, in order to continue to grow. They began to look for candidates. Finally elected is Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Novell.

Schmidt became chairman of Google in March 2001 and served as CEO in August. Apparently the decision was very appropriate. Schmidt succeeded in leading Google into a much bigger company and finally floored on the stock exchange in August 2004. Be Page and Brin milarder. Until now, they both entered the ranks of the world's richest people.  In 2011, Schmidt already feel quite lead Google. Larry Page was deemed worthy of commanding his company again and he became CEO again. While Schmidt became chairman of Google.

Then in 2015, Page and Brin decided to form a Google parent company named as Alphabet. Page became CEO, Brin was named President and Schmidt became Executive Chairman.  Google itself led Indian CEO, Sundar Pichai. Alphabet oversees Google and other companies such as the automotive company Waymo.
