The Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab), Aceh Province, has again received a dividend or company profit distribution from PT Bank Aceh Syariah amounting to IDR 4,268,554,377.
The 2024 Fiscal Year profit was symbolically handed over by the Acting Head of Bank Aceh Bireuen Branch, Faisal to the Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis ST at the Bireuen Regency Government Headquarters, Friday (7/3/2025).
Accompanied by the Head of General Affairs and SDI of Bank Aceh Syariah Bireuen Branch, Riza Afwadi, Faisal said that the dividend had been deposited directly into the regional treasury account.
"This is a form of positive contribution from Bank Aceh to increase Bireuen's Original Regional Income (PAD)," said Faisal.
During the handover, Bireuen Regent H Mukhlis ST was accompanied by the Head of the Bireuen Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD), Mawardi SSTP MSi.
PT Bank Aceh Syariah hopes that in 2025 the Bireuen Regency Government can increase its capital deposits, so that dividends for next year can increase. Faisal expressed his gratitude for the support of the Bireuen Regency Government and community to Bank Aceh.
"Hopefully this dividend can be useful for development and improvement and the welfare of the community in Bireuen and hope that the dividends received by the Bireuen Regency Government will continue to increase every year," said Faisal.
Bireuen Regent H Mukhlis ST after receiving the dividends from the Bireuen Branch of Bank Aceh Syariah said that the dividends were handed back as additional capital for the Bireuen Regency Government.
With the additional capital, it is hoped that the dividends will increase as part of increasing the income of the Bireuen Regency Government.
"The dividends are returned as additional capital for the Bireuen Regency Government, which has not had any additional capital. If dividends are taken, it is certain that we will not develop," he said.
Other parties continue to increase their capital, so the Bireuen Regency Government also increases capital from the dividends themselves. In addition, the Bireuen Regent also hopes that Bank Aceh Syariah's services will continue to be improved so that in the future they will improve.
With better service, of course the bank will continue to develop and advance. With service that pleases customers, it is certain that income will also increase in the future," said the Regent.
