Commemorating National Children's Day in Aceh, Acting Governor Invites Parents to Protect and Fulfill Children's Rights.
Acting Governor of Aceh Bustami, invited every parent in Aceh to protect and fulfill the rights of their children. In addition to fulfilling obligations towards his own children, Bustami also reminded that children from underprivileged families in the surrounding environment should also be taken care of.
"There are children around us whose rights have not been fulfilled, so we must protect and fulfill their rights," said Bustami at the commemoration of National Children's Day which took place at Blang Padang Field, Sunday, (11/8/2024).
"Maybe there are children who are less fortunate, their parents have not been able to fulfill their rights, so we as servants of God who are given abilities, must be present in the midst of their life struggles," said Bustami.
Bustami added that every child is the most valuable mandate for parents. When children's rights are fulfilled and they grow perfectly, they will be the pride of the future for their parents and the surrounding residents.
The Aceh government, added Bustami, also continues to make various efforts to produce quality Acehnese children. One of them is by implementing a stunting prevention program so that Acehnese children grow up healthy and intelligent. "I ask all components, let's encourage a decrease in stunting so that Aceh is better," said Bustami.
On that occasion, Acting Governor Bustami and his wife Mellani seemed very familiar interacting with the children present. Even several small children aged 4 to 6 years were carried and held by Bustami.
Bustami also distributed various gifts to the children by first asking questions. The children also seemed very cheerful and enthusiastic in answering questions to get gifts from the number one person in Aceh.
The commemoration of National Children's Day was also attended by Acting Mayor of Banda Aceh Ade Surya, Acting Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto, Head of BNN Aceh Marzuki Ali Basyah and a number of Heads of Aceh Work Units.
