Report No.43. Exhibition of paintings from the USSR period. Отчёт о поездке №43. Выставка картин периода СССР
Today, as promised, I will continue a series of publications about the exhibition of paintings, sketches and engravings, where we accidentally got walking through the streets of St. Petersburg. Today it would be quite difficult for me to find the geolocation of that place.
This time I will show paintings mainly of the Soviet period. But there were too many works on that floor of the exhibition hall and I won't be able to fit them all into one short material.
In my opinion, the paintings are perfectly suitable as a representation of the lives of ordinary people at that time in the life of our society. There are both everyday scenes and simple portraits of ordinary people. I was even overcome with nostalgia while I was looking at those paintings.
It seemed to me that most of the paintings are sketches made in the open air or from nature. Perhaps they belong to the student period of the authors, or are caught up by the wave of romance and youth.
Frames on some oil works are of interest. In fact, these are ordinary slats that are nailed along the perimeter of the stretcher directly to the canvas.
Tomorrow I will continue the story about this exhibition. I tried to shoot as many works as possible and just take the opportunity to publish a report on my trip to that exhibition.
Сегодня я, как и обещал, продолжу ряд публикаций о выставке картин, эскизов и гравюр, куда мы случайно попали, прогуливаясь по улицам Петербурга. Сегодня мне достаточно сложно было бы отыскать геолокацию того места.
На сей раз я покажу картины в основном Советского периода. Но на том этаже выставочного зала было представлено слишком много работ и я не смогу уместить их все в один короткий материал.
На мой взгляд картины прекрасно подходят в качестве отображения жизни простых людей в тот период жизни нашего общества. Здесь и бытовые сцены и простые по технике портреты обычных людей. Меня даже охватила ностальгия, пока я рассматривал те картины.
Как мне показалось, большая часть картин это эскизы, выполненные на пленере или с натуры. Возможно они принадлежат студенческому периоду авторов, либо подхвачены волной романтики и молодости.
Интерес представляют рамки на некоторых масляных работах. По сути, это обычные рейки, которые приколочены по периметру подрамника прямо к холсту.
Завтра у меня будет продолжен рассказ об этой выставке. Я постарался отснять максимально много работ и как раз воспользуюсь возможностью опубликовать отчёт о своём походе на ту выставку.
