ntopaz-image-0This is my work drawn according to my imagination from Greek mythology. It was the snake god Medusa. This work was drawn by me on my notes during class. There are some people who will wonder who the snake goddess is? Does a snake god really exist?

Unexpected truth about scary female devils in Greek mythology.

For the ancient Greeks, the head of Medusa's snake-haired goddess brought a good omen, used as an amulet to ward off evil ...
The ancient Greeks believed that the head of the snake-haired god Medusa brought good luck, protecting from the dark forces. Accordingly, the image of the head of Medusa's snake-hair goddess appeared on many Greek artifacts, artifacts such as on the amulet to ward off demons, shields, chest armor, mosaics, statues. ..
The Medusa goddess of snake hair is described in Hesiod's Theogony, quite detailed. Accordingly, Medusa and her two sisters Sthenno and Euryale are all snake-haired monsters and are the children of the gods Phorcys and Ceto. While the sisters Sthenno and Euryale are immortal, Medusa is the only one who can be killed and also the most famous of the three sisters.
In Greek mythology, the sea god Poseidon was infatuated with the beauty of Medusa so the two men had a sexual relationship at the temple of the goddess Athena. Because of anger at Medusa that defiled his temple, the goddess Athena transformed the Medusa's bobbed hair into terrifying snakes.
Even anyone who directly looks at the ugly demon eye of Medusa will immediately be petrified. Finally, the hero Perseus decapitated Medusa - ending the life of the cruel snake hair goddess.
Even after dying, the head of the snake-haired god Medusa still had the ability to petrify anyone who looked directly into his eyes. Therefore, the hero Perseus used Medusa's head to punish his enemies.

It is a beautiful drawing, in Greek Mythology there are so many characters and jellyfish is one of my favorite characters that I have drawn on several occasions.
