1) US Govt offers $100k+ Bounty on Fighting Pump-and-Dumps

"If you have original information that leads to a successful enforcement action that leads to monetary sanctions of $1M or more, you could be eligible for a monetary reward of between 10 and 30 percent."

2) Redditor Finds Unique New Phishing Tactic

Phishing is when a scammer uses fraudulent emails or texts, or copycat websites to get you to share valuable personal information – such as account numbers, Social Security numbers, or your login IDs and passwords. By switching letters in domain names to foreign letters that look extremely similar, scammers are becoming more deceptive.

3) Telegram ICO Reaches $850 Million to Date

By far the largest seen for any ICO to date, messaging app provider Telegram says it has raised $850 million in the first part of its controversial initial coin offering (ICO). The ICO is not without its critics, however, and cryptographic experts have questioned Telegram's security in the past. Additionally, there are concerns about the governance of the tokens, as detailed in the ICO white paper, and the voting power of the TON Foundation set up to manage the reserve tokens kept by Telegram.struggling firm's future.

4) Tether Has Bigger Problems than Cash Reserves

Tether, a cryptocurrency that is pegged in a 1:1 ratio to the USD, has been a wildly polarizing topic. While many people believe tether could crash if it has insufficient fiat funds to back up their coin, Bitmex Research studies find it more possible to be shut down due to money laundering.

5) Lenovo Files Blockchain Patent that Could Get Rid of Physical Signature

If you think about it, physical signatures that represent authenticity is pretty silly. To fix this, Chinese PC company Lenovo has filed a blockchain patent to verify integrity of physical documents. A processor will identify an “integrity symbol” within the document, convert it into an “integrity map,” and then compare the map to the physical document to ensure the document’s integrity.
