Hello friends, hope you all are fine. Today my topic is Content Etiquette. In this topic, i will tell you about plagiarism and it's type and citation.

Plagiarism is the stealing the others work and shows it's own.
Person should use his own brain and use his own research and work for his posting. Plagiarism is considered as crime. Steemit is a platform where one should post any thing of his own knowledge without copy.
There are different types of plagiarism.

Complete Plagiarism

In type a person steals someone's research or work and submit it as his own work. This types is very worst plagiarism. Everyone should avoid this.

Self Plagiarism

If a person use his own previous work( which is important ) into his new book or work place.

Direct Plagiarism

In this type of plagiarism a person copies word to word someone else's work and write it on other page.

Paraphrasing plagiarism

In this types a person take the data or someone's and do minor changes and use as his own work.
We can avoid plagiarism by citation

Citation

Citation is giving reference of material that a person taken from someone else. If a person add a picture, he should attach the link of that picture along with the picture.
Or if a person copy a statement of a person he should use the source of that statement.

Example of Citation

If a person copy/paste a data, he should use that statement under quotation marks.
Example,
"A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you."https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/knowledge

If a person take the statement of other and use in his work, then a person should use the source without quotation marks.
Example,
