Self-care is not selfish!

Slowing down, take a break and relax is what can give us new energy to go more. But we often forget that or fail to manage the time. I'm not blaming anyone because you can include me on this list also. We always have so many things in our to-do list, it's quite impossible to manage time for personal care and some relax time.

In many cultures self-care seen as a prohibited thing. Especially when it comes to a woman. It's easy to tag someone selfish if the person arranges some time to self-care, no matter what the gender is. But it has a long term impact, you know. You will find yourself incredibly exhausted mentally and physically. So, it's time to change.

Don't feel selfish if you spend quality time with you. Tell you and others that you are doing this so you can get more energy to serve others. Not only that it's a way that can help us find what we are as a person. It brings the meaning of life to us. It connects us with ourselves more and let us understand better. It helps to live excitingly and empower us to feel self-worth.

Self-care doesn't mean we have to get rid of every other thing and have to concentrate on ourselves. NO. It means having some personal time. It can be a few minutes, it can be the time before your bed, it can be a time while having the morning coffee. Just get some time spend doing noting, think and connect with your root, inner self. You will feel much more powerful for sure.

Break the mental boundary and let you and others think, it's totally okay to have some personal time and do self-care!

I find it ironic that the ones that call others selfish are the selfish ones. Since they want YOU to put THEIR NEEDS before your own, and it seems controlling than anything else. And everyone needs a day of rest no matter what they do.
