Hey kris, i am wondering if the whole cryptocurrencies hype is just a scam as i just bought $20 in bitcoin through coinbase.com and then transfer it to steem and the whole process cost me $3.20. so how could anyone make money with such high fees.
There is a steep learning curve but I believe that is a good thing.
Instead of buying BTC through Coinbase, add money to your USD (or what ever currency for Austria). It may take a few days but it is worth is.
Use gdax.com (its linked to your coinbase) and add the money from your wallet to gdax.
You can buy BTC, ETH, and LTC on gdax without paying the high fees.
More complicated, but again I think that is a good thing. Yes there are high fee scams but I think ICO's represent a far bigger scam opportunity IMO.
