I shade my self
within the colours of this day-
I end up remembering the happy times...
Esteeming each honored memory...
While looking at the sky upon high;
I shade myself a warm colour of pink...
As I think back over past magnificent time...
I shading myself red-with an affection memory-in my mind
All gathered together and written in rhyme
I shading myself different shades of blue...
In recalling the misfortune and distresses of my past...
That took a huge piece of my heart...
These recollections ever-engrained to last
I shading my recollections a splendid yellow...
As I lounge in notices of my days 'neath the sun...
Joy in those days and the where and the when...
Every one of the a many colours in ONE!
I shading myself a rainbow...
A full range of the shades of yesteryear...
I am grasped in their actual brillance-
From this day to the times of some time before
