Time of changes

Last HF22 came with many changes, but the most obvious and notable for majority of users was changing of distribution of reward for authors and curators. I remember my feeling when I received first author reward in a week. It was like "Well, I have to bear with it somehow. And there must be a good changes, after all. Let's see..."

Finally, I got used to the fact of author reward got less. In the same time, I didn't notice increasing of my reward from curating. "Well," - said I to myself, "Anyway, it can't be helped, never mind. Just Steem on!"

And then, an unusual things happened to me not long ago. I got an upvote from a bid bot. For free. First, I didn't believe it. I thought it is a mistake, or ... I attracted attention of a secret philanthropist?..

I checked out the wallet of a bot and didn't find the link to my post. Moreover, there was no bids with links at all. Here I reminded, that I read about discouraging using bid bots. Because of a downvote pool, it got possible and much more efficient. Thus, if bid bot receive no bids, it has a choice - to stay idle or upvote for free to get a curation reward.

In addition, bots' accounts became more "human". I mean that their upvotes are not random, or not always (can't say for sure), but someone really read your post before sending an upvote.

Could we ask for more? All we need to do is to spend some efforts when preparing a post, and sooner or later, it will get a promotion.

Of course, there are still automatic promotion from front-end creators. Sometimes I think it makes us less creative and ... post like it is just a daily duty - to not miss the daily upvote. But they also learn and change. And I can say I like the general tendency, and this post is my reflection of it.

The phrase I picked up for the caption of this post usually sounds positive and full of hope, but changes aren't always positive, right?

I am not a kind of expert, and did not dive deep into new rules. Probably, you know more? What do you like about #newsteem, and what do not? Is there any "list of updates" or so where I can find answers to my questions? I still have few. Will very much appreciate your comments.
