Adventures In ESO - Alliance War and a Horse?
Hello everyone!
In my last post I talked about how @thecastle joined me for a long journey in Elder Scrolls Online. We took a ship, ended up in a spooky place, journeyed to Riften, and then he logged off. When he logged off, I decided to venture to Cyrodiil for the Alliance War PvP.
The main goal was to take control of points on the map, and protect your Elder Scrolls from the enemy.
I joined the standard alliance war, and played around with the siege weapons, since I wasn't sure if anything scaled to my level. I was only level 20. The siege weapons were fun, and a good way to get random kills.

There was a time when I was traveling from place to place and I saw a war that looked like it was between both the enemy teams (there are 3 alliances) and didn't see any of my allies.

I tried to keep up with people to help take over points, but I realized that I was missing something very crucial to the battle...
A horse.
So, you know what I did? I spent all of today questing, looting, stealing, and selling everything so that I could buy a horse.
I stole a lot of goods, and spent a lot of time selling things in the underground.
I did some interesting quests. One of them included a bard that had put everyone to sleep, and their spectral forms were walking around the island. I had to learn a song, so that we could perform a ritual to cleanse the island, and wake everyone back up.
Around this time, I learned the importance of having food, and eating it. I didn't realize that the effects lasted half an hour.

While I was questing, I ended up in Windhelm. I've always loved snowy places in games, and this one is especially pretty.
At least it wasn't as cold as the mountain that I was on for an earlier quest...
I was still short on horse funds, so I picked up a couple quests, which involved... fighting giants

And wearing some random outfit to please some dude that was holding an entrance party for some people entering the city.
It didn't look that bad, though, and I got to keep it in the end. ^^;
Plenty of pick-pocketing, and giant killing later, I somehow had my 10,000 gold pieces.
So, I bought my damn horse.
I entered the level 50 and under version of Alliance War, and it was pretty dead. I didn't really care though. I rode my horse around and tried to be useful. I ran into a group of people, and helped them take a small point.
They quickly added me to their group, and I followed them around for the rest of the night. We even decided to take a keep.
One of the members taught me a lot about how to siege areas, repair, and how best to take points. Apparently throwing 10 million ballistas in front of a door is good tactics. xD

Our group actually managed to take the keep, and since it was 4am I thanked them, and got offline. It was a fun run, and I'm definitely going to play more of it in the future. I hope that next time the battlegrounds are busier. ;]
I still have some more extra stuff to share, that was kind of lost in the mass amount of screenshots and video I have been taking, haha.
First, we have ... Frog racing!

My frog won thanks to some special kibble ;]
Also, look at this mask... This is why I hide helmets in these games. xD
And lastly, a pretty shot from outside of Riften.

Good to see ESO still kicking, was a fun game to play when I did. I don't have the money to get it, but well worth getting. Still a lot of people playing?
The main areas seem pretty crowded, so it seems like a decent number of people play it. ^^
It still gets new content, that's for sure.
Ah awesome, I have seen it bringing out new content quite a bit which is definitely good in the long run.
