Duck Game - Fun With Friends!
Hello everyone!
So, my friends recently introduced me to a game called Duck Game, which is an Adult Swim game. If it's referencing anything, I'm still not sure. Shoot me if I'm an idiot... in-game of course. ^^;
The bio reads:
Enter the futuristic year of 1984, an age where ducks run wild in a frantic battle for glory. Blast your friends with Shotguns, Net Guns, Mind Control Rays, Saxophones, Magnet Guns, and much, much more. This is DUCK GAME. Don't blink.
We've managed to have exactly 4 players consistently, which is what the game calls for. I really love the lobby, which is 4 different rooms, one for each player. You can see what each of the players are doing, and they have to break the glass and jump into the middle when ready.
Sometimes they put a level that looks like the spawn room, and you have to fight in it.
The game is extremely fast paced, and you have to be ready as soon as the round starts. Sometimes you can also win by luck though.
There are a lot of fun features in the maps that you fight in. There are bounce pads, traps, fire pits, teleporters and more. You can even bounce weapons off the bounce pads, or shoot people through teleporters. Just make sure the teleporter doesn't lead to behind you... hehe
The amount of truly interesting guns in this game amazes me. There is even a suicide gun. If you pick it up and try to shoot someone, you will end up killing yourself, or the person behind you... There is a bible which lets you convert people, turning them into your player character, and giving everyone who converts a free point if they stay alive until the end.
I would recommend this game to anyone who has friends they can play with, or doesn't mind joining into a lobby of random people. The game is total chaos, and you will find yourself laughing, begging for your life, screaming at your monitor, and maybe craving roast duck?
You can add mods into the game, which includes player made maps. Some of these maps are pretty hilarious. There is one map where if you die, your roast duck body shoots out a hole, and into Scout from TF2's hands, who is standing in front of a KFD sign. I'll let you guess what that stands for. ^^;
So far this game has been extremely enjoyable to play, and I'll definitely be coming back to it whenever I want a break from the competitive atmosphere.
I'm a fan of this game :p I played it a lot with friends! It's really a fun game, not easy to control at first (and to know all the different guns... Good luck aha) but still enjoyable !

Yeah, I just recently started playing, so I still don't know how to properly use all the guns. Always funny when you don't realize you have the suicide gun. xD
Yeaaah this fu****g gun xD I always kill myself with it! There was only one time that I knew I had it, so I just trowed it at someone and he killed himself... That was rather funny aha

I do not see any problems with it at all. I see more problems with censoring it.
Hum I don't know, but why is it a problem? If I'm the one censoring myself, I don't see where is the problem?
Fair enough. It is just people censoring other people is a problem. I hope you enjoy your time on steemit you might see a lot of fucks from me though. I am going to follow you now.

Awesome! Thanks for the info and recommendations. I actually don't play a lot of games like this, but I really enjoy anything multiplayer that I can play with friends and create havoc.
In this style, I am tempted to play Dead Cells, which is a somewhat newer one. I'll make a post if I get to playing it. :]
Cortex Command looks interesting though. I might give it a try.
Holy shit no one has showed me this game. That looks cool. I think all of these have multiplayer and PvP BUT i have not fucked with it. one last one before I go onto another thread.
Enjoy Cortex Command if you get into it. Its kinda difficult but zany and fun.
