لاہور(اردو پوائنٹ تازہ ترین اخبار۔ 27جولائی2019ء) محمد عامر جنہوں نے گزشتہ روز ٹیسٹ کرکٹ سے ریٹائرمنٹ کا اعلان کیا ہے اب ان کے بارے میں ذرائع نے بتایا ہے کہ وہ برطانوی شہریت ملنے کے بعد آئی پی ایل ڈرافٹ کا حصہ بن سکیں گے۔ اینڈین پریمئر لیگ میں صرف اور صرف پاکستانی کھلاڑیوں کے کھیلنے پر پابندی عائد ہے لیکن اگر محمد عامر برطانوی شہریت حاصل کر لیں گے تو انہیں آئی پی ایل کھیلنے کا موقع مل جائے گا۔
اگر انہیں آئی پی ایل کے ڈرافٹ میں جگہ مل جاتی ہے اور کوئی ٹیم انہیں خرید لیتی ہے تو پھر پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کی جانب سے این او سی ہی باقی رہ جائے گا جو ون ڈے اور ٹی 20 کرکٹ میں پاکستان کی نمائندگی کرنے تک ملنے کے کوئی امکانات نہیں ہیں، البتہ اگر وہ تینوں طرز کی انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ سے ریٹائرمنٹ دیدیتے ہیں تو برطانوی شہریت کے بل بوتے پر آئی پی ایل میں بھی شریک ہو سکتے ہیں

The only and only Pakistani players are banned from playing in the Andean Premier League, but if Mohammed Amir acquires British citizenship, he will have the opportunity to open the IPL.

If they find a place in the IPL Draft and any team buys them, then the NOC will be left by the Pakistan Cricket Board to meet Pakistan in ODIs and T20 cricket. There is no possibility, however, that if he retires from all three forms of international cricket, he could also join the IPL on British citizenship.
