Okay! I will tell you about a pretty exciting and rather annoying experience that I have ever had.

The Day My Shoes Were Lost in the Mosque

What happened?
I lost my shoes in the mosque! Imagine, I came with my favorite pair of sandals, but went home barefoot.

Why did that happen?
That day the mosque was very crowded because it was Friday. I rushed to come, took off my sandals on the rack, then went straight in to pray. After finishing, I came out casually, ready to go back home. But when I got to the shoe rack, my shoes were gone!

When did that happen?
A few months ago, when the rainy season was pouring down my city. I remember because the roads were still wet and I hoped I could go home quickly before the rain fell again.

How did that happen?
Maybe someone accidentally took it, or maybe someone was just messing around. I looked for it in every corner of the shoe rack, even asked several people around, but to no avail. Finally, I gave up and had to go home barefoot!

Where did it happen?
At the mosque close to where my in-laws keep their house. I always pray Friday prayers in some other mosque but that day I was in vicinity of my in laws so I prayed there.

Who experienced it?
Me, of course. But the effects were also felt by the people around me—like my in-laws who were shocked to see me come home barefoot and the neighbors who wondered why I was walking on the muddy streets without shoes.

Although I was upset at first, now I laugh every time I remember the incident. Hopefully the "borrower" of the sandals will get a blessing from my new sandals.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:

Your story of losing your shoes in this post is very sad. Such incidents have happened many times in our country. Friday is Jumma day. On this day, everyone goes to the mosque to pray. And from there the man's shoes are lost. This thing is very sad to think about. Because people go to the mosque and worship and steal shoes outside. In any case, God's eyes can never be evaded. Your shoe is lost. I am very sorry for that. Your success will surely come.
