IF YOU COULD, WOULD YOU?

Lately I have been thinking with all that has been happening around me. Life is difficult to understand. Sometimes i wish there was just a way one can peep into the future and prevent certain sad occurrences from taking place.

If you had an opportunity to peep into your future would you dare take a peep? I guess many would give the answer "yes" to this question. This is why we run to card readers and the self acclaimed prophets and prophetesses just to know what would happen in the future or who/what is behind a certain event. Knowing these things is scary for some of us. What do you do with the information after you have known? Can you alter the future just because you have the knowledge of what it holds? Some events perhaps but not death.

Death is a debt everyone of us must pay. Some beg for it while others are overtaken by it in their prime with no readiness whatsoever. If you know the way you are to die and it is a gory death, would you want to change it? Will it make you more prepared or more afraid? A lot have always wished for the peaceful death. The type that comes in your sleep with no pains, worries nor fears.

I wish death doesn't exist. I wish we can all live together forever and ever without having to lose any of our loved ones. I wish there is a way we can cheat death. With all the inventions we have, it's surprising that no scientist have found out how we can cheat death. Does it mean that death is supernatural?

In the beginning, God never wished for any to die but the moment man fell from grace, this debt was placed upon him and this everyone must bear.

I lost my godfather during the Christmas holiday. He had stroke on Christmas Eve and we took him to every hospital and prayed every single prayer we could pray and hoped he recovered but he never did. He passed on sadly few days ago throwing the family into mourning.

We wonder if he is still around us. Where does the spirit go when one is dead? Does it hover around until the body is buried? If only we can peep through some curtain to know what happens in the afterlife.

So many questions
So much trouble in my mind.

Like they said, you can only tell what will happen now that you are living. You do not own the next minute let alone the next day. We must live everyday like it would be our last.

The joy of dying is knowing that you lived right. It would be a wasted effort if after everything, all the sufferings and pains on this earth, you end up in another place where your sufferings continue.

Do you need to know the future before you can do the right thing?
No one can control the future.
Take control of your present.
