SOKAM SMOCK

Smock is an African traditional wear originated from the northern region of Ghana. A smock is made form thread 🧵 (one or more colors) locally weaved into a full material which is then sown into a full wear by hand or sewing machine.
The material is referred to by some parts of the country as “kenté”.
Can be worked by any gender. Smock for ladies can be sewn to their preferences.

Price range for the Smocks

The cost of my Smocks generally goes with the size of the Smock. The sizes range from medium, large, and extra large, and the prices are as follows.

I personally don’t know fashion designing but I understand simple business principles; I understand that I don’t have to have the skills in a particular field(be an expert) before I can do business in that field.

Nat Fashion Afreeq, I have been able to establish a shop for that. And I have employed a fashion designer who does the job quite well.

Sokam Smock on the other hand, does not have a shop yet. I use the principle of outsourcing to do this particular business.
Here my job is just to get an order for a smock then I would make sure to get all the materials needed and then pass it through all the skill sets till it becomes a full smock wear.

I love fashion so I love doing these businesses. Even though I am still in school, I am still able to run both of these businesses smoothly. Of course there are so many challenges but still we give thanks to God for how far He has brought us.

Looking forward to a partnership and/or sponsorship from this community.

In the future I look forward to going into the agricultural industry; delving into crop and animal farming.
I am already working on a business plan in the agricultural industry with my friends. I hope when it’s ready we’ll get partnership and/or investments from this community.
