Sketch of the day: Forest!
So the fading effect I was talking about yesterday. I decided to make this for forest. I already tried that with the mountains and also the sun and some of the water effects I tried earlier. I think if I experiment for bookmark size they would be vertically long and may break in thumbnail size here.
I like the black and white way more than the coloured watercolour paintings. No idea why. What type of paper do you use?
For black and white it was handmade paper, colored one was on normal sketch paper.
So it does work with you on normal paper as well? I still find it hard to get the watercolour effect so in a week or so I will stop with it for a while. I still have some acrylics to finish and want to work with the soft pastel crayons again. I liked it more. Plus I am still terrible in sketching.
