achievement-1 newcomer steemexclusive nigeria introduction-post introducing-myself
My name is Edikan Monday Ekong. I come from Akwa Ibom State, but I was born and bred in Cross River State. That means I grew up there, played there, and have many memories from that place. Even though my family is from Akwa Ibom, Cross River will always feel like home to me.
HOBBIES
One thing you should know about me is that I love reading and I am also a lover of football, anytime I step into the pitch to play football,I forget all my worries and live the moment.Books make me happy. When I open a book, I feel calm and peaceful. I forget my worries and enter another world. Reading helps me learn new words, new ideas, and new ways of thinking. I can sit for many hours with a book and not even notice the time. Apart from reading, I also enjoy football. I like watching matches and playing with friends whenever I get the chance. Football teaches me teamwork, patience, and how to keep trying even when things are hard.
LIFESTYLE
I am a quiet person. I don’t talk too much, and I don’t like noise or trouble. I prefer to listen to others and understand how they feel. I always try to think before I speak, because words can hurt or help. I also care a lot about my health. I know that if my body is weak, I cannot enjoy life or help anyone. That is why I try to eat good food, drink plenty of water, and sleep well. I avoid things that can make me sick. Health is very important to me, and I believe it is better to prevent sickness than to cure it.
FAMILY
The most important thing in my life is my family. My family gives me love, support, and strength. They are the people who stand by me in good times and bad times. Because of them, I feel safe and encouraged to keep going. They are the reason I work hard and want to do better in school and in life. My biggest wish is to make them proud and to be there for them when they need me, just like they are always there for me.I am the only child of my parents. So they always do their best to encourage me and also work hard so I can have a better future.
PERSONALITY
I am still young and still learning. I don’t know everything, and I know I will make mistakes along the way. But every day I try to learn from those mistakes and become a better person. Life is a journey, and I am taking it one step at a time. As long as I have my books, my love for football, my health, and my family, I feel happy and hopeful about the future. These things give me peace and keep me going.
FUTURE AMBITION
For the future, I have big dreams that keep me awake at night. My greatest dream is to become a football journalist. I want to sit in stadiums under the bright lights, feel the roar of the crowd, and write stories that make people feel the same excitement I feel when watching a match. I want to describe every goal, every tackle, every moment of joy and pain so that even those who were not there can feel it in their hearts. Football is more than a game to me; it is passion, it is life, and I want my words to capture that fire.
I know the road will not be smooth. There will be challenges, late nights, and moments when I doubt myself. But I believe that hard work and prayer can take me far. I will read more, write more, and study the game with everything I have. One day, I hope to inspire young boys and girls from Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and all over Nigeria to chase their dreams without fear. I want them to know that no matter how small you start, your voice can be heard. With my family’s love, my health, and my love for football and books, I know I can make it. That is my promise to myself and to the future.
