This update represents a compilation of the recent news, updates and projections about our Actifit project, including top actifitters for the preceding voting cycle, as well as updates on our account and delegations !

Charity Competition Reminder: Last 24 hours!

Six days ago, we launched our official Actifit Charity Week Competition. If you haven't checked it out, you still have 24 hours to participate.

The purpose is to donate AFIT tokens earned via your daily activity and actifit posts by choosing any supported charity of your choice via the app, which will make you eligible for winning up to 3,000 AFIT tokens!

The participation and competition is fierce! We've had around 170 charity posts so far. Thank you everyone for participating, donating and supporting the different charities, we wish you best of luck!

AFIT Tokens. STEEM Payouts Sent

So our prior week of 2019 was another great one, whereby our different actifitters and delegators piled up more tokens. To date, Actifit has distributed over 20.3 Million AFIT tokens, to 35K+ token holders and around 44K reported activity.

We also sent out today our weekly STEEM delegators share, which went out to 414 delegators (compared to 412 last week), with a total amount of 183.496 STEEM (compared to 167.747 STEEM last week). Effectively still no SBD pay, as due to low STEEM price, the SBD portion of the reward is zeroed.

P.S.: STEEM amount includes both SP and STEEM rewards for delegators, whereby each delegator receives liquid STEEM as a total for both amounts.

Post Upvotes AFIT Rewards

It was brought to our attention that the AFIT tokens associated with post upvotes were not being sent out as of the 10th of Jan, 2019.

We dug into the issue, and found that the cause of this was due to the api.steemit.com node not returning the proper rshares upvote values of each voter (post.vote_rshares).

We've reported this issue back to @Steemitdev Link to our report as we believe this change is not officially stated as related to the change that Steemit Inc implemented back then, relevant to getting an account's full votes (case here is about a post's votes' rshares).

In the meantime, and to fix the issue so as upvoters keep earning AFIT tokens, we have switched our voting and rewarding bot to a different node, which we tested and confirmed to be functional.

At this moment the thoughts of running our own node increase, yet unfortunately with such high costs of running the node, and the continuous drop in crypto prices is not helping.

Witness Status

Last week has not seen any particular items that required our attention in terms of our witness server. Our witness server continues to run smoothly. Below are some stats from last week:

• We are ranked at 48, both as actual and active rank.
• We received votes from 478 steemians (compared to 449 last week). Thank you!
• No blocks were missed during the last week. Overall we have 1 missed block.
• We are witnessing an average of 19 blocks per day.

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

The amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.

Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.

Add to that, and a key important item that will benefit Actifit by receiving more delegation, is the ability to claim and create more user accounts.

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 262,000 = 38.16 AFITs

We are appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.
