RE: Actifit Daily #64: Actifit.io Editor. Graphics Updates. 292 Reports Rewarded. Top 10 Actifitters. 114K SP
This was a great update. The addition of your own editor is huge, especially as we march towards Velocity and SMTs. You're well on your way to being an entirely independent service on the Steem blockchain, and that's awesome.
The graphics refresh that comes with the iOS app release is also nice, and well in line with the continued graphics improvements you've had recently.
The post does have a few issues in terms of style and grammar, however, which dampened my enthusiasm a bit. I'll cite examples, as usual:
- "In alignment with our approach towards allowing more functionality and better/increased usability of Actifit.io, we just added an editor component to allow proper editing of your actifit posts via our website, instead of 3rd party editors such as steemit, busy, or any other front ends you would normally use." This is a super long sentence. It would benefit from both simplification and being broken up.
Lemme try an edit: "As part of our approach of improving Actifit.io's functionality and usability of , we have added an editor feature on our website. You can now edit your Actifit posts directly on the site, instead of resorting to 3rd party editors such as Steemit, Busy, or any other front ends you've used until now."
- "To perform an edit action, you will need to be logged in first, of course." I would also simplify this one: "To edit a post, you need to be logged in, of course."
These and similar issues are not deal breakers. This is still a great post. I just want you to do even better.
