A hot day in the hills - My Actifit Report Card: March 19 2026
Lulu and I were up at dawn for an early drive to Lynx Creek for some prospecting but even the forest hill in the hills was hot with the temperature at 90 degrees.
Fortunately there was a gentle breeze and enough shade to keep us somewhat comfortable and the 3 miles of round-trip hiking wasn't too difficult.
A little gold and Lulu enjoyed the company of a couple of our prospecting friends.
I was able to put in an easy and slow 3 miles late in the day just to work out the stiffness and get in those extra productive steps. It will be nice to be back up in cooler South Dakota in a month and I hope my endurance improves nicely up there.
Till then I hope all my Actifit friends are well.
