Another beautiful day - Actifit Report Card: January 17 2026
Warmer weather today so it was a perfect opportunity to get outside for some running and another walk along the trails near Old Town Cottonwood with Lulu. 
My run was a little bit adventurous because even though it was mostly on the road I somehow managed to trip and take a fall a couple of miles in. Fortunately no body damage other than a scrape to my knee but my old phone took a beating and looks to be kaput now (oh well).
At least the rest of my run was uneventful and I finished up with 4 miles.
Lulu and I wrapped up the afternoon with some miles along the trails by the Verde River.
Lots of people out and about in Old Cottonwood and we crossed paths with several more on our walk. Lulu got to meet a few friendly dogs along the way and there's always plenty of spots for her to smell and explore and the gentle river is always a welcome spot to check.
Probably close to 3 miles of gentle trail walking that we both thoroughly enjoyed on a quiet Saturday.
