Cold and rainy - My Actifit Report Card: January 7 2026

I figured that I might as well head down to the Prescott National Forest for some hiking along Lynx Lake and the creek as the day wasn't going to be too nice.

Just 40 degrees with a thick misty haze and a cold drizzling rain as we trudged along the wet trail along the lake. No one else was out there on this dreary day and even the usually abundance of birds was absent. Lulu was enjoying being out in her old haunts and sniffing everything along the way while I moved along at a good walking pace and enjoyed my time in the forest.
Just a tad over 4 miles total when we arrived bac at the parking lot - damp but happy again being out
