Enjoying a day of hiking and exploring - My Actifit Report Card: February 17 2026
Just catching up on my Actifit reports as my day yesterday was spent hiking and rock collecting down at Saddle Mountain in Tonepah which is an hour west of Phoenix.
None of us got a good night's sleep the night before as gale force winds blew through the area and shook our rv all night long. At least the hiking was slow and easy as I covered a few miles in the open scrub land hoping to find some nice fire agates among the cacti and bits of rocks littering the ground.
Of course Lulu had a great time wandering around and checking out the smells. Despite a bright sun 🌞 the air temperature was mild in the upper 60s fareingheit so neither of us was hot.
I covered about 3 miles on the level ground and all in all it was a great day. A few pretty pieces of quartz and several hours of fun with Mother Nature.
Hope everyone else had a great day and we're able to enjoy nature as well - so much beauty is out there.
