My Actifit Report Card: April 10 2026
I ended the week with a decent bit of activity even though my legs were still tired from yesterday's linger run and mountain hike - still it was a very nice day to be alive and outdoors.
Even with an early start for my run the day was already uncomfortably warm and I quickly was sweating as I chugged up the trail to start my 4 miles.
The trail was nice despite the heat with the landscape alive with bugs and birds and the plants lush and green.
I slowed a bit as I crestedmy route and settled into the easy but boring road downhill to home.
Another mid afternoon hike along the Verde River to make Lulu happy. Plenty of people enjoying downtown Old Cottonwood so Lulu had lots of fun before we joined up with the Jail Trail.
We went further along the river trail and covered almost 2 and half miles with several spots along the river for a cooling splash.
