My Actifit Report Card: April 17 2026
It was a nice afternoon for an easy but rugged run on the trails in the Mingus foothills. Mild weather, nice sun and a gentle breeze to keep me comfortable.
We headed up to Flagstaff so that Lulu could get some acupuncture treatment for her sore hips as she wasn't up to her usual active self. Thus no hike there but up legs felt good enough for my run.
A few people were at the trailhead but they headed off on a different trail so I had the rolling route to myself. The recent precipitation has cleared out a lot of the haze in the Verde Valley and a lot of the plants are in flower (my sinuses aren't enjoying the extra pollen) so my easier pace gave me the opportunity to take in this natural beauty.
We're down to a week left here in Cottonwood so time to get everything packed up and ready to go.
