My Actifit Report Card: April 9 2026
The days are warming up again, so I made sure to get out for my run before the conditions get too uncomfortable.

I stuck to the road for a change and my stamina is improving nicely and I was able to cover 5 miles relatively well. My route was a winding and gradual up and down through the quiet neighborhood nearby.
The warm weather has brought forth a colorful explosion of flowers with even the mesquite trees with their fragrance.

With all of the lush growth, the songbirds and even hummingbirds are out in abundance and the natural beauty makes these runs so much more enjoyable.

Off to Mingus Mountain in the early afternoon where the temperature was much nicer and cooler which was perfect for a 4 mile loop at 7000 feet.

The first mile headed up to the Woodchute Trail before heading off onto a nice trail that went back down to the start.
Really beautiful high up on the mountains and Lulu had a blast trotting through the forest.
