My Actifit Report Card: February 16 2026
A blustery day that had the thermometer dropping throughout the afternoon with a few sprinkles of cold rain thrown in- but at least I had some good workouts despite the conditions.

No distractions during our morning walk so we enjoyed 2 quick miles. Lulu didn't spot anything interesting to stalk and I was glad to push the pace to a good fast walk.
I'm tired of my usual clockwise route on the road and trails so today I started off on the Blowout Trail and proceeded uphill for the first couple of miles. The trail was nice and mellow and the gentle winding climb was fun. The road stretch back down to home isn't a that great but since it's downhill the 2 miles went by nicely and I finished strong and content with the results.
The wind really picked up in the afternoon so we headed down to the Jail Trail for a late afternoon hike. Fortunately no more rain but Lulu isn't fond of strong winds (she was a puppy during Hurricane Harvey in Texas in 2017).
Plenty of smells for her to check as well as several other people to give her some attention.

Tomorrow we're off on a family rock collecting trip to Saddle Mountain to hunt for fire agates.

Hope you all had a great start to your week.
