My Actifit Report Card: February 18 2026
It was a damp, cold and blustery day here in Cottonwood with frequent rain squall, high winds and even snow up on nearby Mingus Mountain.
It was another night of high winds and not a great sleep but Lulu and I were ready for a good walk nevertheless.
There were rainbows 🌈 hanging over the mountains and Old Town when the sun decided to poke out between the rain clouds. The rain fell in occasional little spurts as we headed out for our usual 2 miles.
The pace was quickened when hit the turn around as the rain got a bit more constant. Fortunately we finished before the rain became constant.
The rain was intermittent and the wind blowing when I started my 4 mile run.
Again I ran the trail uphill before returning on the not as interesting downhill roads.
I hope all my Actifit friends had a productive day with somewhat better weather than me (but at least the moisture will be beneficial to the land).
