My Actifit Report Card: February 24 2026
It was a really warm day today with the temperature reaching 75 degrees here in Cottonwood and the sun shining brightly.
We spent a couple of hours down in Prescott for some organic shopping then when headed over to our old neighborhood to enjoy a relaxed hike around the area to see how everything was looking. Lulu had a great time as she explored familiar spots and I was happy to see nature starting to wake up with the warmth and moisture.
Not a tough hike but it was a joy to be on familiar ground with family swinger gradually starts to recede.
My legs were a bit fatigued after yesterday's trail work but my pace was decent but my mileage was only 4 miles total. Mostly a road loop with just a bit under a mile on the Blowout Trail to mix it up a little bit on the soft dirt before the flat stretch to home.
Tomorrow we're hopefully off to Lynx Creek for a day of prospecting and maybe some decent gold once again.
