My Actifit Report Card: January 14 2026

Today was a day for a family day trip to Prescott where we enjoyed a couple of hours at Lynx Lake (just a walk today - no run unfortunately).

The day started off mild and sunny so Lulu and I were able to enjoy our 2 mile walk without having to be bundled up in winter clothing. Lulu did spot a young javelina halfway through the walk but neither of them seemed to interested in each other - Lulu simply sat and watched as the javelina trotted off into the bushes.
The snow had melted around Lynx and the ground was dry and the forest fresh and beautiful.

The lake level still remains a good 30 feet below its normal level as it had been partially drained for repairs to the outlet controls since last year.
Not many people were there so the hike was peaceful with several birds busy in the trees.
It was a leisurely paced walk so everyone had an easy time and Lulu could explore one of her favorite places.
